Systems Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud & DevOps)

About the role

DXC Technology is seeking a Systems Infrastructure Engineer to support and evolve its cloud, virtualized and on‑premises environments. The role involves implementing technical solutions, automating infrastructure tasks and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure reliable and secure operations.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in planning, development and delivery of infrastructure solutions based on design specifications and senior guidance.
• Maintain Windows and Linux systems, including troubleshooting, configuration, patching and routine maintenance across cloud, virtualized and on‑premises platforms.
• Configure and improve CI/CD pipelines, version control systems and artifact repositories.
• Automate recurring tasks using scripting (Bash, Python) and Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Work with containers and virtualization technologies, implement and document technical changes.
• Analyze incidents, contribute to root‑cause analysis and support operations in line with SLAs and ITIL processes.

Required profile

• Approximately 2 years of experience in system administration, DevOps or infrastructure operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficient English (minimum B2 level) for clear communication with teams and clients.

Required skills

• Linux and Windows operating system administration.
• Version control with Git.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.
• Scripting in Bash and Python.
• Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and cloud platforms (AWS services, IAM, networking, storage, monitoring, security).
• Containers and virtualization technologies.
• Networking fundamentals: VPN, DNS, firewalls, routing, load balancing, certificates.
• Infrastructure security scanning, vulnerability management and open‑source compliance.
