Air Tickets Agent

About the role

The Air Tickets Agent is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Sofia. The role involves handling ticket sales and reservations for individual and corporate clients, ensuring accurate booking, rebooking, and cancellation of flights according to customer needs and airline policies.

Key responsibilities

• Sell and reserve air tickets for individual and corporate customers.
• Manage booking systems and global distribution system (GDS) platforms.
• Prepare travel confirmations and itineraries.
• Resolve ticketing issues and coordinate with airlines and internal teams.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and support sales targets.
• Contribute to the smooth operation of the travel desk.

Required profile

• Experience in ticket sales, pricing and upselling.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Background in travel agencies, airlines or corporate travel management.
• Knowledge of GDS systems and basic airline fare rules.
• Fluent in English and Bulgarian, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work accurately under time pressure with good organization.
