Corporate Security Engineer, AI

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Security Engineer, AI to lead the security of artificial‑intelligence adoption across Capital.com. The role sits within Corporate Security and focuses on protecting AI‑driven tools and data in a regulated financial‑services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess security of AI system integrations, including LLM deployments, RAG pipelines, AI APIs and automation tools.
• Conduct threat modelling for AI integrations and define secure deployment patterns.
• Develop and implement AI‑specific threat detection and mitigation controls such as guardrails, content filters and output‑validation mechanisms.
• Own data‑protection controls for AI, design DLP policies for AI channels and ensure compliance with GDPR and financial‑industry data regulations.
• Manage AI tool risk, enforce sanctioned‑tool policies, perform third‑party AI vendor due diligence and monitor usage.
• Maintain the AI security governance framework, author policies, classify risks and keep the AI risk register up to date.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of large language models (LLMs), retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) systems and AI automation tools.
• Experience evaluating AI‑related risks and designing controls in a regulated environment.
• Ability to build governance frameworks that make AI adoption secure and auditable.
