Customer Quality Engineer

About the role

ABB is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer to strengthen its Quality team in Stryama. The role focuses on supporting the Quality strategy, ensuring customer expectations are met and driving sustainable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage non‑conformity incidents and act as the primary contact for customers and suppliers.
• Lead process audits and visits to verify compliance with working practices and procedures.
• Maintain accurate quality data to enable continuous improvement and prevent future non‑conformities.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in electrical quality control, testing, assembly or similar environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Proficiency in English and comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and ERP systems.

Required skills

• Knowledge of busbar systems, electrical connections, and insulation testing.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with IEC standards and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) procedures.
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
