Desktop Support Technician – Onsite (Sofia)

About the role

We’re looking for a Desktop Support Technician to join our team. This intermediate‑level role provides comprehensive support for hardware, software and user lifecycle activities, emphasizing process consistency and workflow improvement. The position is based onsite in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex endpoint issues related to policy enforcement, Intune compliance, or device sync failures.
• Support configuration profile troubleshooting and device re‑enrollment workflows.
• Coordinate asset lifecycle activities – refresh, repair, disposal – in line with organizational policy.
• Execute automated onboarding and off‑boarding tasks, validating user provisioning and equipment return status.
• Provide support for Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, Google Workspace applications, Zoom and Slack.
• Document recurring issues and create knowledge articles for Service Desk reuse.
• Identify repetitive manual tasks and propose workflow automation candidates.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree preferred, preferably in a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in endpoint management or field support.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, MD‑102, HDI Desktop Support Technician, ITIL 4 Specialist, Apple or VCA are a plus.
• Ability to lift objects up to 50 lb and perform on‑site tasks with or without accommodations.

Required skills

• Hybrid identity management (Entra ID and on‑prem AD).
• Intune device management, compliance concepts, Autopilot and Autopatch.
• PowerShell or command‑line diagnostics.
• ITIL processes for Incident, Request and Asset Management.
• Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook).
• Collaboration tools: Zoom and Slack.
