Developer Advocate (Remote, Bulgaria)

About the role

The Developer Advocate will act as the bridge between our engineering teams and the global developer community, promoting our web data APIs and tools through talks, tutorials, and hands‑on demos.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the organization at conferences, meetups, webinars, podcasts, and other industry events.
• Create and deliver technical talks, workshops, live demos, and panel presentations.
• Produce tutorials, articles, videos, code samples, and other content that simplify web scraping, data extraction, and API integration.
• Engage with developers on social media, forums, open‑source projects, and community platforms.
• Gather developer feedback and work with product, engineering, and marketing to improve tools and documentation.
• Explore emerging LLM‑powered and AI‑agent workflows and showcase how reliable web data can support them.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in developer advocacy, community engagement, or a related technical role.
• Proven presence in developer communities and a track record of public speaking.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work independently within a distributed team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python.
• Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs, web scraping, and data extraction.
• Experience with Scrapy, headless browsers, or similar web‑scraping tools (optional but a plus).
