DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure (Sofia)

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a fast‑growing international cloud technology company in Sofia. The role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of high‑complexity projects across multiple industries and a clear path toward a Cloud Architect position.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure on GCP and AWS for clients in Fintech, Biotech, E‑commerce, Gaming, Media and more.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible and Bash/Python scripts.
• Build, manage and optimise CI/CD pipelines and containerised applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Administer Linux environments, troubleshoot networking, web‑server and database issues, and support large‑scale migrations.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on Linux administration.
• Strong Bash scripting and log‑analysis skills.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Bulgarian.

• Networking fundamentals – OSI model, VPC, VPN, firewalls, routing.
