DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join Smartico.ai, a multi‑channel realtime gamification and marketing loyalty platform. You will help manage and improve our AWS‑based cloud infrastructure while supporting fast‑paced feature releases.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, improve, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS.
• Provision, patch, and configure platform components and infrastructure services.
• Support migrations, optimization, and operations of high‑load production environments.
• Maintain and enhance Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible or similar tools.
• Build and operate monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting for internal and public services.
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, security, and resilience of production systems.
• Automate development, deployment, and operational processes.
• Troubleshoot platform‑level issues affecting application performance and availability.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or Linux System Administrator.
• Strong Linux administration skills and hands‑on experience with AWS.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to learn independently and stay curious about new technologies.

Required skills

• AWS cloud services.

• Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitLab CI, GitOps principles).
• Scripting with Shell or Python.
• Observability tools (Zabbix, Graylog, Nagios, PagerDuty).
