DevOps Engineer

About the role

Join Nexo’s fast‑moving team to design, build and operate cloud‑native platforms that power the next generation of digital wealth services. You will work daily with AWS, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps tooling while leveraging AI to accelerate development and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate AWS services (IAM, networking, compute, storage, managed data services) and manage EKS clusters with multi‑tenancy, RBAC and security hardening.
• Drive GitOps using FluxCD, maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, and author Terraform modules, Helm charts and ACK controllers.
• Manage service mesh (Linkerd) and API gateway (Kong) traffic patterns, and monitor SLOs/SLIs with Datadog and Prometheus/Grafana.
• Integrate code quality and security scanning, and work with event‑driven architectures built on Kafka, AWS MSK and Debezium.
• Write clean automation scripts in Bash, Python and Groovy, and incorporate AI tools (Claude) into pipelines and documentation.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in a Platform or DevOps role, owning outcomes end‑to‑end.
• Strong AWS expertise and a proven track record building resilient cloud‑native systems.
• Deep understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, TLS, ingress, service mesh, zero‑trust).
• Comfortable using AI tools daily and making architectural decisions around LLMs.
• Honest about strengths and eager to learn new technologies.
