Digital Marketing Specialist – Social Media (Sofia)

About the role

Workster is recruiting a Digital Marketing Specialist (Social Media) to join its Sofia marketing team. You will own organic social activity, create compelling content, and build strong community relationships to support brand growth and user engagement across key markets.

Key responsibilities

• Create and publish engaging social media content across Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, tailored to Bulgarian and regional audiences.
• Manage day‑to‑day community interactions: monitor comments, respond promptly, and escalate issues.
• Develop and execute social‑first campaigns to drive brand awareness, acquisition and retention.
• Collaborate with design, copy and localisation partners to produce on‑brand creative assets and short‑form video content.
• Schedule and publish posts using social media management tools, maintain content calendars and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor performance, produce regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
• Support influencer and creator partnerships, including briefing, relationship management and performance tracking.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in social media management, content creation or digital marketing, preferably in consumer‑facing or tech sectors.
• Excellent written and spoken English; good command of Bulgarian for local audience engagement.
• Strong understanding of platform mechanics, content formats and audience behaviours across major social networks.
• Experience creating short‑form video content and basic mobile‑first editing.
• Data‑driven mindset with ability to translate metrics into practical optimisations.
