Digital Support Engineer

About the role

Join AJW’s Sofia site as a Digital Support Engineer, providing responsive and effective digital assistance to colleagues. You will act as the local first point of contact for IT and digital queries, ensuring reliable systems and a smooth user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the onsite first point of contact for digital and IT issues, delivering first‑line support for hardware, software, access and connectivity problems.
• Log, manage and update support tickets, progressing issues in line with service expectations.
• Escalate complex incidents to the wider AJW Service Desk, Infrastructure, Cyber Security or Applications teams.
• Support setup, maintenance and administration of user devices, accounts and standard business applications.
• Assist with local digital tasks and projects, collaborating across multiple locations.
• Promote good digital, IT and cyber‑security practices among colleagues.

Required profile

• Experience providing IT administration and support functions.
• Experience working within a multi‑functional team environment.
• Proven ability to support end users and resolve technical issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible, adaptable and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a collaborative working style.
