About the role
ABB is looking for a Digital Transformation Engineer to lead the modernization of production and maintenance operations. You will implement digital technologies, predictive maintenance systems, and IoT solutions to boost efficiency and reduce downtime.
Key responsibilities
- Create, modernize, improve and administer software for OEE, efficiency, traceability, web applications and digital maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Develop IoT sensor strategies and data‑analytics solutions for equipment monitoring and failure prediction.
- Lead cross‑functional projects involving IT, operations and plant teams, providing training and change‑management support.
- Identify automation opportunities for production and maintenance and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience in maintenance engineering or operations.
- Proven experience with CMMS software such as SAP or Maximo.
- Knowledge of IoT, data analytics and Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Strong project‑management and problem‑solving skills.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Fluency in English.
