Email & Automation Specialist

About the role

eBag, the leading online supermarket in Bulgaria, is looking for an Email & Automation Specialist to own weekly and thematic email campaigns from concept to execution. You will join a two‑person CRM team, reporting to the Marketing Lead and collaborating closely with Marketing, Sales, Design, Copywriting, Legal, BI, and Social Media teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and send thematic campaigns (recipes, lifestyle, seasonal) from idea to final send.
• Write and shape copy direction for weekly and thematic emails.
• Build, maintain, and QA campaigns and automations in the CRM platform.
• Monitor performance metrics (Open Rate, CTR, Conversion Rate, transactions, revenue) and recommend optimisations.
• Propose and test segmentation, timing, content, and frequency within automations.
• Maintain database quality, including tags, consent, and data cleanliness.
• Prepare weekly and monthly CRM performance reports.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in email marketing or CRM, preferably in e‑commerce or retail.
• Strong Bulgarian copywriting skills and ability to generate campaign ideas.
• Experience with segmentation and interpreting key email metrics.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage calendars, reporting, and cross‑functional coordination.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience creating and sending campaigns through an ESP or CRM platform.
• Basic HTML editing within an email builder.
• Familiarity with a CDP/marketing automation platform (e.g., SALESmanago).
• Use of AI tools for copywriting, analysis, or routine task automation.
