Epidemiologist, Vaccines and Infectious Diseases (FSP Sponsor Dedicated)

About the role

Join IQVIA’s Sponsor‑Dedicated FSP team as an Epidemiologist focused on vaccines and infectious diseases. Working remotely, you will partner with a single sponsor to deepen knowledge of their vaccine portfolio while leveraging IQVIA’s global real‑world evidence capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews, scientific summaries, data cleaning, code look‑ups and quality‑control tasks.
• Contribute to abstracts, manuscripts, posters and other scientific deliverables.
• Support the creation of analysis plans, table shells and collaborate closely with programmers.
• Provide rapid responses to epidemiology and safety information requests.
• Oversee operational aspects across multiple studies, maintaining documentation, trackers and operational tools.
• Coordinate safety and data requests, manage timelines and monitor vendor deliverables, flagging risks or delays.

Required profile

• Master’s degree minimum (MPH required); PhD in Epidemiology preferred.
• Experience in applied epidemiology or scientific operations.
• Strong background in vaccines and/or infectious diseases, preferably with vaccine‑effectiveness research.
• Proven ability to work in matrixed, cross‑functional teams and support scientific deliverables.

Required skills

• Strong analytical, organizational and written communication abilities.
• Intermediate understanding of epidemiologic methods.
• Capability to conduct scientific and operational tasks independently and to identify and escalate operational risks.
• Effective collaboration with programmers and other technical partners.
