Financial Analyst

About the role

The Financial Analyst will support Viatris' local medical team by preparing financial reports, forecasts and analyses, ensuring alignment with regional strategy and driving impact for patients and the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial management reports, plans and forecasts.
• Produce accurate P&L variance reporting and analysis.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting cycles and monthly/annual closing activities.
• Review budgeted requisitions in Smart source and monitor compliance.
• Perform bookkeeping for current and capital expenditures in line with company policies and local regulations.
• Prepare monthly comparative reports for promotion expenses, headcount and departmental costs.
• Support internal and external audits within the scope of the position.
• Contribute to local, regional or global projects and initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• 3–4 years of FP&A experience with strong analytical and accounting expertise.
• High ethical standards and professional conduct.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Thorough knowledge of economics and accounting (local and US GAAP).
• Financial statement analysis.
• Quantitative methods.
