Icelandic Speaking Customer Support Specialist in Sofia

About the role

Join a leading international brand as an Icelandic‑speaking Customer Support Specialist based in Sofia. You will act as the frontline ambassador, delivering empathetic and solution‑driven assistance to Icelandic‑language customers through multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality support to Icelandic‑speaking clients via phone, email and live chat.
• Diagnose and resolve inquiries, complaints and service requests promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the internal CRM and case‑management system.
• Escalate complex issues to senior tiers or specialist departments following established protocols.
• Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and share feedback.
• Collaborate with a multicultural team to meet performance targets.
• Stay updated on product knowledge, service updates and internal policies.
• Ensure compliance with data‑protection regulations and confidentiality standards.

Required profile

• Native or fluent Icelandic (spoken and written).
• Valid EU passport or legal right to work in the EU.
• Strong command of English (minimum B2 level).
• Previous experience in customer support or client‑facing roles is a plus, but not mandatory.
