Identity & Access Management Engineer – LDAP & Linux

About the role

Accenture is looking for an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join its Bulgarian Technology team in Sofia. You will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and evolving enterprise‑level Global Directory (LDAP) services across multiple environments, while supporting the upcoming cloud migration strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and support Global Directory (LDAP) services, including manual data maintenance and user management.
• Perform manual interventions such as copying users between environments and ensuring data consistency.
• Develop, customize, and maintain LDAP scripts for reporting, audits, staging, and export tasks.
• Implement schema extensions within a defined OID range and customize Access Control Instructions (ACIs).
• Troubleshoot LDAP‑related issues and collaborate with international teams to improve service stability and standardisation.
• Support preparation activities for a planned cloud migration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in directory services, identity management, or infrastructure/operations engineering.
• Advanced English language skills (minimum B2).

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with LDAP/Active Directory (LDAP, LDIF, ldapmodify, ldapsearch).
• Strong Linux background and proficiency in shell scripting for automation and reporting.
