Investigator Support Assistant (German speaker) – Remote

About the role

Labcorp is looking for a remote Investigator Support Assistant who is fluent in German to assist investigator sites, sponsors and internal teams with laboratory result communications and project coordination. The role supports the end‑to‑end workflow, ensuring timely notifications, data entry and issue resolution while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Notify investigator sites, sponsors and affiliates of laboratory results, flags and test cancellations as defined in the Statement of Work.
• Monitor, track and resolve accession holds, informing supervisors and project managers of any delays.
• Update internal databases with test information and communicate additional testing needs to relevant personnel.
• Provide project‑related support to sites and sponsors via phone and email, answering queries promptly.
• Follow management communications, meetings and Standard Operating Procedures, and assist in implementing global processes.
• Track and report metrics within agreed timelines and document service failures for escalation.
• Act as a liaison for internal and external clients, communicating new policies and ensuring investigator needs are considered.
• Prioritize patient safety, escalating any issues that arise.

Required profile

• High school diploma (or equivalent) with at least 6 months of customer‑service experience.
• Fluency in English and German, with strong verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and able to handle multiple tasks and distractions professionally.
• Self‑motivated team player capable of working independently during the 11 AM‑8 PM EET shift (or other required hours).
• Willingness to work occasional Saturday shifts (once every two months).
