Java Backend Developer – Healthcare Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to join our international IT hub in Sofia. You will help build and maintain the backend of our fast‑growing online healthcare platform serving millions across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable Java backend services for the e‑commerce platform.
• Build and optimise RESTful APIs for frontend applications and external integrations.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Gradle, Jenkins and Git.
• Optimise PostgreSQL database performance and write efficient queries.
• Containerise applications with Docker and ensure consistent deployments.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3‑5 years of professional experience developing modern Java applications.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and ability to work both independently and in an Agile team.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
