Junior Data Analyst – Finance Analytics

About the role

As a Junior Data Analyst in the Finance Analytics team you will turn raw data into actionable answers for the business. You will support the finance department with ad‑hoc requests, help improve reporting scripts, and collaborate with finance, commercial, marketing and product stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Pull, clean and prepare data using SQL, including joins, window functions and CTEs.
• Maintain and enhance reporting and reconciliation scripts, ensuring data quality.
• Research unit economics, plan‑vs‑actual analyses and build dashboards or data marts.
• Explain key metrics such as GMV, ARPU, margin, conversion and revenue to stakeholders.

Required profile

• 6‑12 months of hands‑on experience in data analytics, consulting or a finance‑related role (internships count).
• Strong SQL knowledge with data‑quality checks.
• Experience with at least one BI tool (Tableau or Metabase).
• Good Excel skills – lookups, arrays, pivot tables and charting.
• Understanding of core business metrics (GMV, ARPU, margin, conversion, revenue).
• English at B2 level or higher and ability to work in GMT+3 time zone.
