Junior Security Analyst – Hybrid (2 days onsite)

About the role

The Junior Security Analyst joins HPE’s Customer Solution Centers to provide 24/7 monitoring of enterprise customers' IT security environments. Working in a hybrid model, you will spend two days a week on‑site supporting Managed Services clients and handling security events.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively monitor customer environments for security events and potential threats.
• Use vulnerability and compliance management tools to assess security profiles and act accordingly.
• Respond to customer inquiries and triage security alerts within defined SLAs.
• Handle incident response and coordinate with Level 2/3 security teams.
• Coordinate support activities and drive ITIL‑based change, problem and incident management.
• Identify and contribute to projects that improve product support, customer satisfaction and team efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree or in the process of obtaining one.
• At least one year of experience in a customer‑support environment.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, following predefined processes.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and internal teams.

Required skills

• Understanding of enterprise computing environments, applications and TCP/IP networks.
• Knowledge of detecting, responding to, containing and remediating live security incidents.
• Experience with IT infrastructure monitoring tools and vulnerability/compliance management solutions.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
