Legal Research Specialist

About the role

Nexo is seeking a Legal Research Specialist to support its global licensing and regulatory compliance efforts across multiple jurisdictions. You will work closely with the Head of Legal & Regulatory Compliance and regional legal counsels to ensure that Nexo’s digital‑asset services meet all applicable legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Survey licensing and registration requirements for Nexo’s business activities in various jurisdictions.
• Prepare and submit all documentation required for licensing and registration procedures.
• Maintain licenses and registrations, including handling regular examinations and renewals.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external regulators to assess compliance obligations.
• Monitor regulatory developments and evaluate their impact on Nexo’s products and expansion plans.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in law with a strong academic record.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience in corporate compliance, credit, payment institution, or banking licensing.
• Experience in cryptocurrencies or blockchain is a strong advantage.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, fluid environment while meeting deadlines.
