Maintenance Engineer

About the role

ABB is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to lead the maintenance processes for equipment, production lines, and facilities. You will be responsible for preserving efficiency, optimizing technical and financial resources, and ensuring safe operation on site.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities, focusing on reliability, maintainability, and safety.
• Execute ordinary and extraordinary maintenance tasks, respond to emergencies, breakdowns, and malfunctions to minimize production disruption.
• Identify and solve major technical problems, propose improvement projects to reduce maintenance needs and enhance energy efficiency.
• Maintain and update technical documentation for equipment and facilities.

Required profile

• Technical bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with Lean principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work with people at all organizational levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP.
