Medical Information & Adverse Event Intake Specialist (Bulgarian/English)

About the role

This position supports health‑care professionals and consumers by providing medical information and processing adverse event reports. You will work within a global safety team to ensure product safety and quality across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide phone support to health‑care professionals and consumers regarding adverse events, product quality complaints, and medical inquiries (non‑sales).
• Receive, triage, review and process lifecycle safety operational data.
• Enter data into safety databases, code medical terminology, write descriptive narratives and generate case queries.
• Perform quality control, assist with reconciliation, drive case closure and coordinate translations.
• Document incoming calls or emails from investigative sites reporting safety data.
• Foster a collaborative team environment, mentor less‑experienced staff and lead by example.
• Maintain effective communication with the Lifecycle safety team and project managers, proactively identifying issues and proposing solutions.
• Participate in training, working groups and implementation of new safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Life Sciences degree.
• Excellent written and verbal skills in Bulgarian (C2/native), English and an additional foreign language (minimum C1).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high‑quality standards.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Capacity to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage competing priorities.
• Willingness to learn across various lifecycle safety service lines.

Required skills

• Fluency in Bulgarian (C2), English (C2) and an additional language (C1).
