On‑Site Optimisation & Content Specialist

About the role

As an On‑Site Optimisation & Content Specialist you will join the Performance team, working across regulated markets to optimise website structure and produce regular sports‑focused content that improves search engine rankings.

Key responsibilities

• Optimise website content and regularly write sports articles for the site.
• Monitor performance for the Bulgarian market, identify issues and opportunities, and keep up‑to‑date with search‑engine algorithm changes.
• Assist with SEO audits across sport, gaming, news and content sites on all TLDs.
• Perform keyword and topic research, combining organic data with existing paid data and content inventories.
• Combine competitor analysis with query data to refine SEO strategy continuously.
• Support the Content team with structured‑data opportunities and improve content for high‑volume queries.
• Deliver content creation, manage editorial calendars and ensure alignment with marketing objectives.
• Analyse data and results to identify trends, insights and maximise ROI.

Required profile

• Passionate sports fan with experience creating news‑based sports content and News SEO.
• Bulgarian native‑level speaker with high proficiency in English.
• Proven track record of driving business results through organic optimisation across multiple languages and markets.
• Strong knowledge of technical SEO, especially indexing and crawling.
• Familiarity with semantic search, entity‑oriented search and large language models.
• Experience analysing numerical data and visualising insights using Excel, Google Sheets or Looker Studio.
