Process Engineer

About the role

At Sensata Technologies, we are seeking a Process Engineer to support the development, optimisation and stability of manufacturing processes for electromechanical sensors. This position is ideal for early‑career engineers who want to deepen their knowledge of manufacturing, quality and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and optimise manufacturing processes to reduce scrap, defects and production costs.
• Apply statistical methods, risk analysis, PFMEA, MSA and other process‑control tools.
• Investigate process deviations, quality issues and customer complaints in collaboration with Quality and Manufacturing teams.
• Develop and implement new or improved manufacturing and testing processes, and define equipment requirements.
• Participate in projects for new product introductions, equipment layout optimisation and process validation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or related engineering discipline.
• Strong problem‑solving and data‑analysis abilities.
• Basic knowledge of electronics, electrical engineering or manufacturing technologies.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to learn, adapt and develop professionally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
