Project Architect – BIM & Design Specialist

About the role

Mott MacDonald’s Nuclear division in Sofia is expanding its multidisciplinary design team. As a Project Architect you will work within a BIM environment to develop architectural solutions for energy, high‑hazard and life‑science projects, supporting the global energy transition.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs and detailed drawings using BIM tools.
• Produce documentation for tendering and construction phases.
• Coordinate with engineering and other disciplines to ensure a unified design approach.
• Prepare comprehensive building description reports and visual representations.
• Create immersive virtual tours and interactive presentations of design concepts.
• Assist in drafting technical specifications and model‑based quantity take‑offs.
• Provide regular progress updates to the lead architect.

Required profile

• Qualified architect with experience in multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively across engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting and presenting design ideas.
