Project Engineer

About the role

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project Engineer to join its engineering team in Sevlievo, Bulgaria. The role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of products, collaborate with multicultural teams, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to execute project tasks.
• Process production documentation received from customers and ensure it meets specifications.
• Prepare technical and production documents based on customer requirements.
• Handle change notifications and correct production errors according to established processes.
• Monitor project quality and timelines to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Communicate with all relevant departments to clarify technical issues.
• Propose technical improvements to documentation and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Solid understanding of engineering techniques, processes and tools.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work proactively, deliver results and collaborate within a team.

Required skills

• eCAD software (advantage).
• Microsoft Office suite.
