QA/QC Supervisor – Construction Projects

About the role

METLEN Energy & Metals is seeking a QA/QC Supervisor to join the construction team for its Chirpan project in the Stara Zagora region of Bulgaria. You will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet the required quality standards and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections and tests to verify compliance with design and specification requirements.
• Carry out inspections according to approved method statements and inspection test plans.
• Identify, issue, and close Non‑Conformity Reports in coordination with customers and technical supervision.
• Maintain all QA/QC documentation, including certificates, calibration records, test results, and inspection requests.
• Verify subcontractor adherence to quality procedures and monitor the effectiveness of the project quality management system.
• Recommend and implement improvements to quality processes and distribute relevant documentation to subcontractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of site quality engineering experience in construction.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
