SAP Maintenance Functional Consultant – Master Data Governance (MDG)

About the role

Accenture is seeking a SAP Maintenance Functional Consultant specialized in Master Data Governance (MDG) to join its Bulgarian Technology team. The consultant will provide Level 2 support, configure and enhance SAP MDG processes, and ensure high‑quality master data across the SAP landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for SAP MDG incidents and service requests, collaborating with Level 1 and Level 3 teams.
• Monitor system performance, conduct health checks and tune the MDG environment to minimise downtime.
• Configure and customize SAP MDG to meet business requirements, including development of functional specifications for RICEFW objects.
• Work with ABAP developers to implement custom reports, interfaces, enhancements and forms.
• Analyse existing MDG processes, recommend improvements and participate in implementation or upgrade projects.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and completeness, and enforce data‑governance policies.
• Conduct regular data‑quality audits and apply corrective actions.
• Document configurations, processes and procedures in detail.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Deep understanding of SAP MDG functionality and data‑governance concepts.
• Experience delivering support or functional consulting for SAP MDG.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional and technical teams.
