Senior Application Security Analyst

About the role

Entain is seeking a Senior Application Security Analyst to join its hybrid security team. In this role you will conduct in‑depth security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement controls to protect critical applications while collaborating closely with development teams to improve security posture and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive security assessments, code reviews and penetration testing of applications using industry‑standard tools and methodologies.
• Promote a culture of security awareness through training sessions, workshops and regular communication with development and operations teams.
• Maintain detailed documentation of findings, remediation actions and metrics on application security performance.
• Integrate security controls into the software development lifecycle by working with architects, IT operations and other security stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in an information security role with a strong software development background.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with the ability to educate technical audiences on application security concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with security test management, vulnerability management, penetration testing and security assurance processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Java, C/C++, PHP.NET and Python.
• Knowledge of major frameworks and libraries such as Spring, OSGi and ASP.NET.
• Experience with Agile development environments and security testing tools.
• Strong understanding of penetration testing, vulnerability management and security evaluation techniques.
