Senior Consultant / Manager, Bank Strategy & Transformation

About the role

PwC is recruiting a Senior Consultant or Manager in its Strategy and Transformation team, focusing on banks. The role helps clients solve complex strategic, operational and technology challenges, manages a portfolio of several clients across the region and leads engagements mainly in South Eastern Europe within the financial services industry.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively assist in managing a portfolio of multiple clients across the region
• Take part in business development to find opportunities with new and existing clients
• Lead engagements, primarily in South Eastern Europe and in financial services
• Keep up to date with regional and global business and economic issues, including technology trends affecting banks, insurers, fintechs and other players
• Participate in hiring, developing, leading and supervising junior team members

Required profile

• Senior Consultant: 2 to 5 years of relevant financial services experience; Manager: 5 to 8 years
• Experience in a top-tier strategic consultancy, banking operations, start-ups or technology companies
• Knowledge of banking trends related to technology and digital transformation
• Fluent English and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
• Relevant degree(s)

Required skills

• Enthusiasm and knowledge in areas such as post-merger integration, product development, customer experience, digital solutions, bank-fintech partnerships and new lending processes
• Ability to support, train and coach others and manage a team
• Good presentation, communication and relationship management skills
