Senior Group Accountant

About the role

Finrax, a leading crypto payment processor, is looking for a Senior Group Accountant to join its finance team. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting across the Group, supporting management decisions, and maintaining compliance with Bulgarian and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process primary and secondary accounting documents, including invoices, bank statements and expense records.
• Prepare, reconcile and review bank statements, cash transactions and related entries.
• Submit VAT registers and returns within statutory deadlines.
• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and consolidated reports in accordance with IFRS.
• Produce internal financial reports, reconciliations and analyses for management.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and ensure proper elimination of balances.
• Monitor receivables and payables, ensuring timely settlements.
• Coordinate with banks, public institutions and external auditors as required.
• Support continuous improvement of accounting processes and the implementation of accounting software.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience in group accounting, preferably in a high‑volume, multi‑entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of Bulgarian accounting legislation and IFRS.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
