Senior Java Developer

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join its Custom Software Engineering team in Sofia. You will work on diverse web‑based solutions, collaborating with clients and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design solutions based on client requirements.
• Own implementation of solution components, delivering high‑quality code on schedule.
• Mentor and develop less‑experienced team members.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead and organize teams of various sizes.
• Strong client‑facing and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for short‑ or long‑term assignments.
• Flexibility to work with different technologies and platforms.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented, proactive and self‑motivated.
• Disciplined with a “team‑first” mindset.

• Java & J2EE (servlet containers, web application servers)
• Spring and SpringBoot
• RESTful web services, JSON, XML, HTTP
• RDBMS such as MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL
• Software design patterns and development methodologies
• Version control with GIT
• Build tools: Gradle, Maven, Ant
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Nexus
• Unit testing: JUnit, Mockito, PowerMockito
• UNIX/Linux environments
• ORM frameworks, e.g., Hibernate
