Senior VAT Consultant – France, Spain & Italy Compliance

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior VAT Consultant to support French, Spanish and Italian clients with their VAT compliance obligations. You will work closely with colleagues across Spain, Italy, France and Central‑Eastern Europe, developing your expertise in tax consulting while building client relationships and leading project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review VAT submissions and returns for Spanish, Italian and French clients.
• Support clients during tax audits, control procedures and disputes with tax authorities.
• Participate actively in client meetings, teleconferences and presentations.
• Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders.
• Contribute to project teams and ensure successful delivery of client engagements.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in VAT compliance covering one or more of the French, Spanish and Italian jurisdictions.
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law or a related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of French, Spanish and/or Italian is a strong advantage.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Commitment to a long‑term career in tax consulting.
