Senior Web Developer

About the role

You will build and maintain nexo.com, the company’s primary marketing platform that reaches millions of potential clients worldwide. The role focuses on delivering high‑impact, conversion‑oriented features while ensuring performance, accessibility, and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the nexo.com site using React 19, Next.js 16, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Payload CMS.
• Translate Figma designs into responsive, accessible interfaces across modern devices and browsers.
• Maintain the component library and design system with Storybook for consistency and scalability.
• Ship conversion‑focused features, track their impact, and continuously optimise for Core Web Vitals, technical SEO and cost efficiency.
• Own the end‑to‑end delivery cycle: design, code, deploy, measure and iterate.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably with Node.js.
• Expert proficiency in Next.js, React and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with MongoDB or AWS DocumentDB.
• Deep knowledge of web performance optimisation (code‑splitting, lazy loading, image optimisation, caching).
• Understanding of technical SEO (structured data, meta tags, sitemaps, rendering strategies).
• Ability to use AI tools to accelerate development without compromising quality.
• Experience with A/B testing, feature flags and analytics instrumentation.
• Solid grasp of Git, CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices.
• Active participation in open‑source communities and a track record of delivering high‑quality code under tight deadlines.
