Structural Design Engineer – Solar PV

About the role

We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Structural Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary project team. The role involves working on a range of rooftop and ground‑mounted solar PV projects, ensuring designs comply with legislation and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare civil and structural engineering documentation from conceptual to working design for PV systems.
• Perform static and dynamic analysis, model and draw metal structures.
• Draft designs using AutoCAD, produce calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Optimize steel structures to minimise material usage while meeting load‑bearing requirements.
• Calculate material quantities and prepare health‑safety, waste‑management and fire‑safety plans.
• Participate in workshops, supervise design implementation and conduct site surveys.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Valid full licensed designer competence.
• Strong knowledge of Eurocode and PV technology.
• Reliable, detail‑oriented and efficient problem‑solver.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary team and meet deadlines.
