Supplier Quality Engineer

About the role

ABB is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to strengthen its Quality team within the Smart Power Business Area. The role focuses on managing non‑conformities, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement at supplier sites.

Key responsibilities

• Manage non‑conformity incidents and act as the primary point of reference for suppliers.
• Perform supplier process, system, and product audits to ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Maintain accurate supplier performance quality data and lead Lean Six Sigma improvement projects.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Proficient in English communication.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
• APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis.
• Quality Auditing.
• Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
