Sustainability Communication Specialist

About the role

Etex is seeking a Sustainability Communication Specialist to amplify its sustainability story and help shape a more sustainable construction industry. You will translate complex sustainability initiatives into clear, engaging communication for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling sustainability narratives for products and solutions, aligning messaging with audience expectations.
• Create diverse content such as articles, case studies, videos, white papers and manage the full content creation process with internal and external partners.
• Support alignment and visibility of sustainability initiatives across teams, monitor progress and ensure timely communication.
• Use digital platforms—including websites, social media and agencies—to promote content and strengthen Etex’s positioning in the sustainability space.
• Provide internal communication support for global town halls and company‑wide updates on key topics.

Required profile

• Degree in Communication, Marketing, Environmental Science or related field (or soon to graduate).
• First experience in communication through internships, student projects, freelance work or an entry‑level role.
• Strong writing and storytelling abilities with a talent for simplifying complex topics.
• Solid research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proactive mindset, ability to collaborate in an international environment and passion for sustainability.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
