Technical Support Engineer Tier 1 (Remote, Europe)

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer Tier 1 to deliver prompt, high‑quality assistance to Action1 customers across Europe. The role involves troubleshooting endpoint issues, collaborating with engineering and product teams, and helping to improve our cloud‑native patch‑management platform.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely technical support via phone and other communication channels.
• Troubleshoot and resolve failed patch installations and other software issues.
• Reproduce customer‑reported problems and escalate confirmed issues to the appropriate teams.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to incorporate feedback and improve the product.
• Maintain and enrich an internal knowledge base with guides and solutions.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and basic script interpretation.
• Proficiency in macOS and/or Linux environments.
• Knowledge of software deployment, install switches, and Windows registry manipulation.
• Previous experience in technical support or customer service roles.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1‑C2 level).
