Art Director

About the role

Fame Sofia is looking for a full‑time Art Director to lead the visual development of client campaigns and projects. Based on‑site in Sofia, you will translate strategic goals into compelling concepts, layouts and designs that reinforce brand consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Own the creative process from brief to final delivery, ensuring high‑quality visual output.
• Develop and present concepts, mood boards and design solutions to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate closely with copywriters, designers, account managers and clients, providing clear direction and constructive feedback.
• Maintain and evolve brand identities across multiple touchpoints and channels.
• Participate in new‑business pitches and stay up‑to‑date with design and branding trends.

Required profile

• Proven experience in creative and art direction, preferably within an agency environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing campaign work, brand systems and multi‑channel design projects.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities.
• Relevant degree in Design, Visual Communications or equivalent professional experience.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
