DevOps Engineer – Concourse CI Team

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join SAP’s Concourse CI team. The role focuses on enabling efficient delivery of cloud services, ensuring high uptime, performance and scalability across SAP’s cloud portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and automate infrastructure and delivery workflows following best‑practice standards.
• Build, operate and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to shorten deployment cycles and enhance software quality.
• Monitor system performance, availability and scalability, proactively identifying issues.
• Lead incident management, root‑cause analysis and implement reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with product engineering, reliability engineering and cross‑functional teams to harmonise cloud delivery.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in scripting and infrastructure tooling to design operational workflows.
• Practical understanding of cloud architecture, identity & access management, database concepts and observability in production.
• Experience in incident management, root‑cause analysis and proactive reliability work.
• Exposure to AI adoption practices such as agentic AI, context engineering and validation of AI‑generated outputs.
