Delivery Manager – Forward Deployed Squads

About the role

The Manager, Delivery – Forward Deployed Squads (CXAI) is part of the CX Transformation team at TELUS Digital, based in Sofia, Bulgaria. This role leads forward‑deployed squads that partner with specific accounts and verticals, focusing on proof‑of‑concept and pilot stages to identify scalable digital innovation solutions for CX Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary squads—including Solution Architects, Forward Deployed Engineers, Product Researchers, and Designers—to drive discovery, ideation, and delivery of digital innovation solutions within CX Operations.
• Own the POC‑to‑Pilot lifecycle, ensuring solutions are successful, measurable, and scalable across accounts or globally.
• Collaborate with CX Operations and TELUS Digital program leadership to align on program‑wide initiatives and execution.
• Maintain clear communication for engineering teams, product managers, marketing partners, and C‑level executives.
• Create and manage holistic project plans, weekly status decks, and reporting cadences.
• Translate open‑ended client requests into actionable squad plans without waiting for fully scoped mandates.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in software development as a Project Manager, Product Manager, Product Owner, Team Lead, or Scrum Master within a client‑services environment.
• Proven track record leading Fortune 500 custom software projects from discovery through design, implementation, and deployment.
• Strong technical problem‑solving ability to address API, integration, and system‑level issues.
• Excellent communication skills, regularly running workshops and structured meetings to align stakeholder groups.
• Comfort operating with ambiguity, driving AI‑focused digital transformation without fully defined SOWs.
