Full Stack Software Developer

About the role

ETAP is looking for a Full Stack Software Developer to join its product development team in Sofia. You will work on CAD‑based applications, delivering new features, improving performance, and reducing technical debt while supporting the company’s digital‑energy platform.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Management to understand customer challenges and design viable solutions.
• Recommend process, technology, and interface improvements that enhance team effectiveness and lower technical debt.
• Provide input for story sizing, backlog refinement, and release planning.
• Contribute to product and solution designs addressing critical and complex issues.
• Develop software across multiple platforms, adhering to technical architecture and coding standards.
• Write automated tests and perform troubleshooting and investigations as needed.
• Support, monitor, and maintain deployed products.
• Mentor less‑experienced engineers, offering technical guidance and oversight.
• Stay current with emerging software technologies and participate in the engineering community.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate user needs into technical solutions.
• Experience working in Agile environments and contributing to sprint planning.
• Proactive attitude toward capacity planning and identifying component limitations.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
