Full-Stack Software Engineer

About the role

Progress is looking for a Full‑Stack Software Engineer to join the Automate MFT team, a cloud‑native file‑transfer platform built on AWS. You will work on both back‑end microservices and front‑end applications to deliver a secure, scalable SaaS solution.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain .NET Core microservices and React/TypeScript front‑end components on AWS.
• Implement and enhance integrations with transfer protocols (SFTP, FTP) and cloud storage services (Amazon S3, Azure Blob, Google Cloud Storage).
• Write clean, reliable code following engineering best practices and security standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, QA and support teams to deliver high‑quality features.
• Ensure solutions meet internal quality, reliability and security requirements.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building SaaS applications.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new technologies.

Required skills

• C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
• TypeScript and React.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge of file‑transfer protocols (SFTP, FTP) and cloud storage APIs (S3, Azure Blob, Google Cloud Storage).
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Use of AI‑augmented coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor or Claude Code.
