Information Security Specialist

About the role

The Information Security Specialist will join Mitel’s IT Security organization to lead and coordinate information security, cybersecurity and IT risk management activities across the company. Working closely with CISO functional leads, Global IT Managers and local teams, the role ensures that security policies, controls and processes are consistently applied and that risk is effectively managed.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage the Information Security Management System (ISMS) aligned with global security objectives.
• Implement security strategies and policies for infrastructure, applications, processes and people.
• Assess and report local and global security risks, providing risk assessments and business impact analyses.
• Monitor and report security key performance indicators (KPIs) and support audit and certification initiatives, including ISO 27001 audits.
• Qualify, investigate and report security events and incidents, ensuring root‑cause analysis and remediation.
• Support incident response, crisis management and risk remediation activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in information security, cybersecurity and IT risk management.
• Familiarity with industry‑recognized security frameworks and standards.
• Ability to work with CISO leads, global IT managers and local stakeholders to implement security policies.
• Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and reporting.

Required skills

• ISO 27001 audit and certification knowledge.
