IT Support Engineer

About the role

This hands‑on IT Support Engineer role focuses on delivering Tier 1 and Tier 2 support while providing a clear path toward security‑focused positions. You will keep employees productive, collaborate with the security team, and work across hardware, software, and network issues in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, application and access issues both in person and via the service desk (Tier 1/2 support).
• Manage and secure endpoints using the company MDM across multiple operating systems.
• Perform IT onboarding for new European employees, handling Microsoft 365 and Active Directory/Entra ID administration (users, groups, MFA, mailboxes).
• Handle ad‑hoc tickets and collaborate with Tier 3/4 engineers to maintain system stability.
• Identify policy gaps and assist in gathering evidence for ISO, FedRAMP and Cyber Essentials audits.
• Maintain run‑books, knowledge‑base articles and accurate asset records.
• Support migrations, upgrades, roll‑outs and coordinate with external vendors.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in desktop or IT support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory/Entra ID.
• Security‑first mindset, considering access, data and risk in daily tasks.
• Methodical troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and networking.
• Excellent written and spoken English and ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical colleagues.
• Customer‑focused, calm under pressure, organized and a genuine team player.
