Junior Technical Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Technical Support Engineer to join DXC’s Mainframe team in Sofia. The role offers full training in Mainframe technologies, so no prior experience is required, making it an ideal entry point for a career in IT.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site support for customer infrastructure built on Mainframe platforms.
• Identify, diagnose and resolve technical incidents to maintain service continuity.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely issue resolution and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong command of English.
• Good communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
• Basic IT knowledge and willingness to work in shifts.
• Motivation to learn Mainframe concepts and the z/OS architecture.

Required skills

• Mainframe technology (training will be provided).
• Understanding of z/OS architecture (preferred).
