Procurement Specialist – Data Center Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to support Data Center Operations at Acronis. The role will manage end‑to‑end sourcing of hardware, software, networking equipment and related services, ensuring competitive pricing, timely delivery and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Source hardware, software, networking equipment, Internet transit, colocation services, and other technology‑related products.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
• Support procurement activities for data‑center expansions, migrations, and new Points of Presence deployments.
• Create and manage purchase requests and purchase orders in line with internal processes.
• Coordinate with suppliers to track orders, manage deliveries, and resolve procurement‑related issues.
• Assist commercial negotiations by gathering quotations, benchmarking pricing, and preparing documentation.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing, obtain service credits for breaches.
• Analyze procurement and spend data to identify cost‑reduction opportunities and communicate value propositions.
• Track supplier performance and manage vendor relationships.
• Coordinate hardware logistics, import logistics, shipping documentation, and customs clearance when required.
• Maintain accurate documentation, invoice validation, purchase records, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance.
• Work with procurement and financial systems such as Coupa, Acumatica, and JIRA to keep records up to date.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, strategic sourcing, or supply chain.
• Proven experience procuring technology products such as hardware, software, and networking equipment.

Required skills

• Experience with procurement platforms such as Coupa.
• Familiarity with financial systems like Acumatica.
• Use of project tracking tools such as JIRA.
