Senior DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer (GCP)

About the role

We are seeking a senior DevOps and Site Reliability Engineer to own and evolve our Google Cloud Platform infrastructure. The role involves designing, implementing and maintaining scalable, reliable services while collaborating with development, QA and IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage cloud resources on GCP, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run and GKE.
• Implement container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (and optionally CircleCI) to automate testing, building and deployment.
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus and New Relic.
• Administer MongoDB clusters, ensuring performance, security, backup and disaster‑recovery.
• Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with GDPR and internal policies.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform or Ansible and develop custom scripts in Python or Bash.
• Provide technical support to development and QA teams throughout the software lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional DevOps or SRE experience.
• Hands‑on experience with GCP services and container orchestration.
• Proven track record of building reliable, scalable infrastructure.
